What This Actually Looks Like
An aide arrives at a time you've agreed, for a visit long enough to be useful. She helps your father wash and dress, gets him settled with breakfast, prompts the medication he's meant to take, and tidies what's needed before she leaves.
Over a few weeks she learns how he likes things done. That's the part families tell us they didn't expect to matter as much as it does.
What's included
- Bathing and hygiene support, at whatever level of help is actually needed
- Dressing and grooming
- Toileting assistance and routine support
- Mobility support and safe transfers, within safe limits for one person
- Medication reminders — prompting, not administering
- Morning and evening routines, which is when most families find it hardest
When Families Usually Call Us About This
- After a fall or a hospital stay, when washing alone stopped being safe.
- When a parent refuses help from their own children but will accept it from someone whose job it is.
- When one parent has been doing all of it for the other, and it's become too much.
- When you're managing it remotely and the phone calls have stopped being reassuring.

Where This Service Ends
This is non-medical care. That distinction matters more than it sounds like it does, so here's exactly where the line falls.
This service covers
- Help with washing, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Safe transfers within the limits of one person
- Medication reminders
- Meals, tidying and the routine around all of it
This service does not cover
- Wound care, injections, IV therapy or anything else requiring a nurse or therapist
- Transfers that now need two people
- Administering medication rather than prompting it
- Overnight one-hour check-ins or occasional cover
If what your father needs is skilled nursing, you need a home health agency rather than us — and we'll tell you which ones take his insurance.

The Person Who Answers This Phone
Peace Tsaku, MSW
Twenty-two years in home care, the last of them running this agency out of Tinton Falls rather than a franchise office in another state.
Every plan of care here is overseen by a registered nurse. The social workers on staff hold master's degrees, which matters more than it sounds like it should — it's usually how a family finds out about a state or community program nobody had mentioned to them.
Peace's direct line is 732-685-0786. When you call it, she answers. Not a receptionist, and not a national intake line.
